Spicy cheese dip

This dip is also inspired from the food we ate in Greece last summer. We pretty much had this dip every day (maybe not the most healthy decision ever - but hey, we were on vacation).

The dip didn't turn out exactly like I remembered it, so I will have to experiment with this a little bit more. But very tasty none the less.

This is what you need:
  • Green chili pepper
  • Feta cheese
  • Olive oil
Fry the green chili pepper (I halved it first).


Crumble the feta cheese in a larger bowl/deep plate.


Cut the fried chili pepper into smaller pieces. Finnish off by mashing it in a mortar.


Add the mashed chili pepper to the feta cheese. Add the olive oil that the pepper was fried in and use the mortar pestle to mix it all together. Add more olive oil until the consistency is the way you'd like it.


We had the dip with sweet potato fries. A perfect combination if I may say so myself.
